Terminus
is, at its heart, a space combat simulation.
Many of these “space sim” elements are similar to other
games, such as the Freespace series.
You can pilot a variety of single seat spacecraft, ranging from
fighters to gunboats to transports.
With these ships at your disposal, you can carry out a wide range
of missions or contracts.
However, Terminus differs from the previously mentioned
games by offering the following innovative features: |

|
| |
|
| |
Immense
Game Environment
|
| |
|
| |
The
entire Solar System is your playground.
And once you’re in Terminus, you will realize how
immense a playground it is. All
planets and moons are positioned according to NASA navigational data. You can dock at nineteen space stations spread across the
Solar System. And you can
travel anywhere in between via giant constructs known as Vortex Gates.

Realistic Physics
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
All
the spacecraft in Terminus fly according to realistic physics based
Newton’s Laws. The resulting Zero-G flight model immerses you in the
feel of actual space travel. Because of this, your ship can perform
maneuvers never dreamt of in other games. And if realism isn’t your
cup of tea, the physics can be scaled to an arcade setting as well.

Comprehensive Ship Simulation
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
All
of your ships in Terminus are fully configurable. Every ship
system is modeled down to the last detail, including weapons,
propulsion, armor, and/or cargo. You can hotrod your ship to optimize
performance using parts you’ve bought, stolen, or salvaged. You can
give your ship a custom paint job to make it stand out from the pack, or you can use one of the many pre-configured ships included in the
game. It’s up to you.
